EVE CORP CHARTER
OK... here goes...
We are embarking on a game project which will for the most part be brand new to us. Myself, Torinor and Andyr being the primary exceptions. For me in Eve, as in almost all the games I play, I would like to see us embrace the lore in some way. This is not our only option and as we are seeing many clashes of vision and preference on race already it may also be the least viable path. Here are a bunch of Ideas I would like you to look over and reply to those you like dislike etc etc.
Amarrian court; This guild design would be Amarr centric with the leaders being loyal to the Theology council of the Amarr empire. They would always act in the best interest of the Amarr empire by serving the will of the heavens. The empire must be restored to it former glory! Non amarrians would be mercenaries or converts to the cause.
Caldari Battlegroup; This would be a Caldari centric guild with the guild being portrayed as a division within the Caldari Military. Non Caldari members would be seen as spies for the cause or attache from friendly empires.
Galentean Freedom Fighters; With this guild we would be primarily gallentean (sp) and would be dedicated to defending anyone that attempts to threaten the freedom of the Federation of those within. We would also be sympathetic to the mimatar plight. those outside of the Federation would be seen as sympathizers to the cause.
Mercenary Company; A private corporation owing allegiance to the highest bidder. We would not really care about what our member ship was made up of so long as they could carry their own weight. Members could be driven by want for isk, or perhaps had some bad blood with former homelands. more or less wide open on this one.
Pirates; This guild would be more or less similarly to the merc idea but without any code, save our own. Kill who we want when and where we want. This would be far from easy but also may appeal to some.
Merchant Corporation; This is more of a defensive organization that would seek to join any number of larger corps. We would basically focus on defending our miners or escorting them to dangerous regions while offering our guns as support to the alliance in question when they have need.
Banished House; This is similar to the merc charter but elaborates on one aspect of that story. The leaders of this guild were once nobles/generals/Elected officials ect of their former homeland. They have had a bad fall because of political or social maneuvering and thus find themselves outside of the grace of that administration. They have gathered what they can to establish their own claim and slowly work their way back for...power.. or vengeance.
Fugitives; as above but with more of a you are on the run sort of twist..
Any other ideas?
seriously im a bit burned out about the stress/arguing over this so just let me know what we all want to do and one way or another I will be a part of it.

would be good,
I feel like i still need to learn alot more of the game before I can really decide on this.
I would prefer not to reroll...

Re: EVE CORP CHARTER
I like banished house best. Mercenary company would also work. A more race specific approach would probably involve people re-rolling, and in some cases running 2 accounts.

My 2 cents
Merc Company or Merchant Corp. good for me. As diverse a corp as we will be, these 2 seem the best fit. banished house might work as well.

I think Merchant Corp. would be in our best interest for the time being.

Re: EVE CORP CHARTER
We are actually going WITH the banished house concept.. the exact details are not yet hammered out and at the moment the idea is to keep us fairly neutral though as most of us are amarrian that will likely guide this overall vision.
Re: EVE CORP CHARTER
Yesss, I am craving EVE like a nymphomaniac craves sex. I will likely be heading back tomorrow so I can get back on track with some new ideas I have for my character. I've learned much about the different aspects to EVE in my reading these past few days, and I am looking forward to putting my knowledge to work. <Purrrrrr>
